We had a great time starting with getting to Egg harbor, Wi in Door county in time to take the trolley tour to see the light houses their including the government ones open once a year to the public.
I always thought that lighthouse had one shape--Door County lighthouse sure helped change my mind. The two boys that keep showing up in pictures are my son and grandson.
We stayed in Egg Harbor and it is their 50th Anniversary of being a village. What better way to celebrate than having 50-2 feet metal eggs all designed differently placed through out the village. When I get those picture downloaded I share some.
Well back to work after vacation. My son, grandson, brother, sister-in-law, sister and I met at Egg Harbor. We had a blast and some of the things we did included.
View outside the condo
Climbing the 97 steps of the Caan lighthouse
Ate at a restruant that had goats on the roof—oh yea the guy was cutting the grass on it and I had a severe Asthma attack (but the goats are cool).
Had my food deliver by a model train and ate on doors made into a counter
Then took a ferry across “Door to the Way to Death” from the tip of Door County to Washington Island where Lake Michigan and Green Bay join.
Oh yea a stop at the Chocolate Chicken for my homemade fudge and speciality coffee for my co workers.
Today it’s Sunday and I can actually rest. Vacations are nice, but home is wonderful
At a ballet, we enjoyed a night of music and dancing.. Speaking late into the night and talking about our favorite guys was quite an experience. It was great to meet another Napoleon fan (Love Illya, but Napoleon always has had my heart.)
