25 years of service

Just returned from the celebration of 25 years of service at work. (and every 5 years after that). A wonderful meal and great company--

Each boss was asked to write a certificate for their employee, this was mind.

Some friends and my boss. From left to right, My good friend and Nurse Practitioner Jenny, Dora a psych nurse, Me and my boss Cindy.

It was a great time and excellent food. And only 5 more weekend before retirement.

Well done! What a wonderful tribute to you - wholehearted praise too.
And now retirement to look forward to. Will you stay retired, or will you end up going back in as emergency cover?

I've had to do a jigsaw to post this...

We can't go back to work for them once we collect a pension. I will be teaching at least one more semester for the college I have been teaching nurses for.

Congratulations!

It's really nice that the supervisors composed a personal certificate for their staff members. I think it's probably ideal to have the teaching for another semester to segue into retirement.

It was nice from your supervisors who know you best. I really was a little embarrassed as they read them out loud. Yeap I thought the same thing. As it gets close to then end of the semester I will decide if I will go any further with teaching.

Stages are probably best, so you don't have to make all the decisions and all the changes at the same time.

I agree and how Mark is doing will make my final decision

Congratulations, Pat! Great photo--and the plaque is such a wonderful way for your boss, and for everyone there to express their appreciation. It's really something special for you to have. Are you looking forward to retirement? Have you made special plans yet?

Thanks you. Just will be taking care of Mark and teaching one more semester. The plaque is so special, it will be up on my wall tomorrow

Congratulations! The plaque is a really nice testimonial. (And they spelled your name right? Dang! Better than the place I worked for.)

Spell it right is correct, but say it--always wrong. My boss made me redden when it was read, but it really made me feel wonderful
