After we moved to Chicago, we used to go camping every summer at Peninsula State Park, my mother loved the scenery up there, it reminded her of Estonia, where she came from. It's probably a bit more built up now then it was then, but what a great time we always had. We'd go down to Sturgeon Bay once in a while for a big fish dinner :) Peter's grandparents lived in Traverse City, the Michigan side of the Lake--they have a bunch of beautiful lighthouses in that area too.
